How they charge

- By email volume rather than contacts: a plan fee (Starter from $9) plus a monthly email-credit tier, with up to 100,000 contacts included on the free plan, which sends 300 emails a day. Removing Brevo’s logo on Starter costs extra.
- Xem
- Per email sent. Free for 3,000 a month, then from $9. Contacts are free to keep, every plan has every feature, and you can self-host the open-source version and pay only your email provider.
When Brevo fits better
- You want SMS, WhatsApp and email in one tool.
- You need Brevo’s sales CRM and meetings features.
- You send under 300 emails a day and its free plan is enough.

Is Xem cheaper than Brevo?
It depends on volume. Both charge by email: Xem is $19 a month for 40,000 emails, with branding-free sending and every feature included. Compare Brevo’s calculator for your exact volume and the add-ons you need.
Can I move my Brevo list to Xem?
Yes. Export contacts as a CSV from CRM → Contacts. Xem imports any CSV with an email column and keeps unsubscribed people unsubscribed.
